Early life: Marquavious Jaxon was born in a small midwest city in 1998. there he grew up the oldest of 7 siblings he was always curious and adventerous and even at a young age, this would get him into alot of trouble. His curiousity and trouble followed him everywhere throughout his life.

In his formative years, he found a love for music; more specifically, he fell in love with electronic music, EDM, and most of all, dubstep. He loved the culture behind Skrillex and the party life, and this would cause issues with his parents, who were by this time already long divorced with joint custody. What was particularly notable about this dynamic was the vastly different styles of parenting the two households had. His father had a very strict and religious style of parenting, while his mother had a very relaxed style. This kind of polar opposite contrast would play a huge role later in his life.Jaxon was a very curious person and naturally would question religious ideologies something that his father (who was a pastor) didn't like. This would ultimately result in Jaxon living full-time with his mother who remarried. It was around this time, when Jaxon was at a good place in his life, notably popular in school and generally well liked among his peers, that various tragedies struck. The loss of a family member sent ripples through home life in a way that Jaxon and his family would never recover from, and Jaxon fell into a depression. He stopped caring, drifted from his friends, and started to do poorly in school. Not long after, he saw a psychiatrist who immediately prescribed him medications that only exacerbated his depressive condition. He would get into trouble with the law, get kicked out of school, and be in and out of psych wards. Lastly, he became suicidal, and in one of his downward spirals, he got into drugs. He was always a pot smoker, but he branched out to magic mushrooms. When he took the mushrooms for the first time, it completely changed his life in a very transformative trip. He claims to have seen "infinity" and had an "ego death." He said he was a "flower that was growing." After that very transformative experience, it was like a light switch turned on in his head. He took a deep interest in science and learning, but more importantly, he never stopped asking questions.

After he graduated high school, he attended college for a year, but it was unfortunately cut short when his mother (who he was living with at the time) divorced her then-husband. They had to move to a different city, where Jaxon would spend his early adulthood. Jaxon eventually saved up and got his own apartment and unknowingly moved into a very poor and dangerous part of town; there were often gunshots and random acts of vandalism. It was around this time he made friends in the apartment complex who would come over and party. It was during this time that Jaxon wanted to pursue being a rapper and would host weed-smoking sessions at his apartment, where he and his friends would put on an instrumental and take turns freestyle rapping. However, Jaxon realized how hard it would be to break through doing YouTube alone, so he performed at small venues around his city, although this ultimately wouldn't lead anywhere. Jaxon felt he needed to have more range, and he was given his mother's old laptop, which he would use to learn Blender 3D to make animations and short videos. For a few years, he learned Blender and rapped, but eventually he decided to take on producing when he couldn't find anyone to make beats for him or collaborate with. He started learning on a software called LMMS, which was free. He used it to learn the ins and outs of music, but naturally the software had limitations, and in 2018 he bought his first edition of FL Studio. It was shortly after his childhood best friend would commit suicide and break him in a way he could have never forseen... He spent years learning and refining his craft, taking an interest in lo-fi, trap, hip-hop, and dubstep, to form his own unique aesthetic and sound he called Hypnodica, which is a moody blend of digital and analog distortion that gives off a hypnotic feel that holds two truths at once. He fell in love with the sharp and the soft, the soothing and the edge, to synthesize them into his own vibe. As the years continued, he decided that music and videos weren't enough, so he branched out into other domains like software, where he is taking things even further today.

He'd already taught himself Blender on a hand-me-down laptop and learned to produce when nobody would make beats with him, so when music and animation started to feel like they had a ceiling, he did what he always did and went to learn the next thing. This time it was code. He picked up C++ and a framework called JUCE and started building his own audio plugins from nothing, the kind of thing most people go to school for or only ever build on a team. He did it alone, late at night, same as everything else. The first ones were rough and then they weren't. Out of all this, Jaxon Studios became what it actually is now, not just a name he put on his music but a whole house with three divisions under it.
